Job Description:
As the Head of Content at Product Hunt, you will have the opportunity to create and implement an ambitious vision for our content strategy. You will be responsible for producing in-depth, high-quality articles, videos, and podcasts that resonate with our audience and expand our reach. This role requires a visionary leader who can manage a small team and collaborate closely with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
– Create and own an ambitious vision for Product Hunt content, focusing on in-depth, high-signal articles, videos, and podcasts.
– Conduct research and interviews to produce high-quality content or guide the creation of high-quality videos and podcasts.
– Lead a small team of 2 (growth marketer/social media expert + writer) and a contractor, with the potential to scale the team as needed.
– Collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, and other team members, including engineering and design, to align content strategies with business goals.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in content creation, particularly in-depth and high-quality articles, videos, or podcasts.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and grow a content team.
– Excellent research and interviewing skills to produce compelling and informative content.
– Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
– A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the tech and startup ecosystem is a plus.
