Job Description:
We are seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to apply their engineering skills to sustainable water projects. As part of our team, you will support the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and associated infrastructure. Working under direct supervision, you will ensure designs meet client specifications and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct site assessments and adjust design parameters as needed.
– Conduct water quality analyses and modeling.
– Contribute to technical report preparation and documentation.
– Collaborate on presentations for client meetings and industry conferences.
– Assist in creating documents and presentations using tools like ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other software.
– Participate in fieldwork supporting our construction management activities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
– Basic knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software.
– Understanding of engineering principles of design.
– Proficiency in Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
– Good verbal and written communication abilities.
– Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of the time.
