Job Description:  

Advanced Construction Services, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to manage the purchasing of materials, equipment, and services required for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within the construction industry, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. This role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute to the success of our projects from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee the procurement process for all construction-related materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.

– Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best deals.

– Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions that align with project goals and company standards.

– Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks for the company.

– Track inventory levels and coordinate with project managers to ensure materials are available as needed, avoiding delays and minimizing waste.

– Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.

– Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new products, and potential suppliers that could benefit the company.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

– 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction industry.

– Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable contracts.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong vendor relationships.

– Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
